Michigan Economic Growth Authority (MEGA)

Michigan Economic Growth Authority (MEGA) provides tax credits for businesses locating or expanding in Michigan. Tax credits go against the Single Business Tax for up to 20 years, up to 100 percent of the incremental SBT liability from the project and the personal income tax attributable to the new jobs being created.

Existing businesses must create at least 75 new jobs. Out-of-state businesses must create 150 new jobs. Other requirements for high-tech companies apply.
