Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)
In the event the
Livingston County Economic Development Corporation requires infrastructure
improvements - water, sewer and/or road - to secure the location of a
project, the EDC can apply for a Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) via the Michigan Economic
Development Corporation.
Maximum
grant amount: $750,000
Other criteria: a
minimum leverage ratio of at least 2:1 private to public funds.
The total CDGB award is
determined at a rate of $10,000 per permanent full-time job(s) created as a
result of the project. |
